SeekOut integrates with your Beamery account, allowing you to export candidate profiles from SeekOut and turn them into Beamery candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history.

SeekOut integrates with your Beamery account, allowing you to export candidate profiles from SeekOut and turn them into Beamery candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. SeekOut candidate profiles can be sent to Beamery as simple prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job for immediate hire consideration.
This article covers how to set up your integration, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to Beamery.
Before You Begin
Beamery requires a dedicated account with access to the Contact API in order to integrate with SeekOut. You will be entering the email and password of this account in SeekOut to complete the integration.
Source / Created By field
Beamery has a field labeled 'Created By.' For all candidates exported from SeekOut, this field will have the name of the person who set up your Beamery integration.
To better track where you're sourcing your candidates, the dedicated account you create in Beamery for the integration should have a name such as 'SeekOut API.' Beamery support can help you with this step.
Custom Fields
A user with Beamery admin privileges must create four custom fields with these properties on the Beamery instance.
To do this in Beamery, create a folder called SeekOut, and assign the following four custom fields to the SeekOut folder:

Custom fields will track, filter, and organize the candidates brought over from SeekOut. The visibility of these new fields to your Beamery users is based on their permission levels and the User Permissions you choose when setting up your custom fields.

Accessing Integrations
Click your name at the bottom left of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.
Note: Don't see the Integrations option in your menu? Contact your Customer Success Manager or support@seekout.com and ask to enable ATS integrations for your org.
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection to open the list of applicant tracking systems. If you've set up an integration with SeekOut before, your current integrations will be listed on this page. Click the plus sign + at the top of the page to open the ATS list.
Connecting to Beamery
On the Integrations page, click + Add a Connection. Locate Beamery from the list of integrations and click the Connect button.
Note: If you have set up an integration previously, click the + next to the list of integrations at the top of the page to open the Add a Connection pop-up.
On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Check Export only as Prospects if you choose not to export candidates to specific jobs in your ATS. Check Enable Pools to enable the ability to export to job pools. Click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.
On the Credentials tab, enter your Beamery email address and password, and select Production in the Environment dropdown. Click Save to complete your integration.
Click Submit to save your credentials. SeekOut will automatically attempt to verify your connection. When successful, Beamery will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.
Removing the Integration
On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.
Authentication
Beamery uses OAuth and requires you to authenticate your connection before exporting for the first time.
Authenticate while on a Search page
While searching for candidates, click More at the top right of the candidate list. Click Authenticate with Beamery and login to your Beamery account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Authenticate from within a Project
While in a SeekOut project and click Export at the top right of your candidates. Click Authenticate with Beamery and login to your Beamery account. Authentication will automatically happen after you login.
Exporting from SeekOut to Beamery
Note: It's strongly recommended to retrieve a candidate's email address before exporting. Your ATS will be unable to match duplicate candidates unless they have an email address associated with their profile.
Use the Get Email button on a profile to obtain their contact info, or check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates in the confirmation pop-up before exporting.
To export all candidates in a project to Beamery, go to your SeekOut project, click the Export icon and choose Export All to Beamery. Note that contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.
Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking Export and then selecting Export X to Beamery. With both methods, clicking Export to Beamery will cause a pop-up window will appear.
You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If your ATS does not support candidate profiles without email addresses, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to Beamery. If successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."
Optionally, select Include previously exported candidates also if you're exporting the same candidates to your ATS again. Click the Export button to export candidates to Beamery. If successful, you will see an export confirmation icon on the profile.
Other Information
Note on Duplicate Candidate Records
SeekOut will try to prevent duplicate records by not transmitting profiles that have already been successfully exported. Candidates that have been exported will contain a confirmation icon and the ATS system name next to their SeekOut profile. Example: ATS: Beamery.
Beamery will check for duplicate records in your exported candidates only if you export the candidate's email address from SeekOut. If there is no candidate email address, Beamery will likely create multiple candidates until they are merged. For this reason, it's strongly recommended to only export candidates to Beamery who have an email address.
What do dummy emails look like?
When you check the box "Generate dummy email addresses" before exporting to your ATS, then SeekOut will create email addresses and send them along with each candidate who doesn't already have an email associated with their SeekOut profile.
The email addresses generated by SeekOut will look similar to these examples:
