SeekOut integrates with your Beamery account, allowing you to export candidate profiles from SeekOut and turn them into Beamery candidate profiles complete with contact information and work/education history. SeekOut candidate profiles can be sent to Beamery as simple prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job for immediate hire consideration.

This article covers how to set up your integration, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to Beamery.

Setting up the Beamery Integration

Before You Begin

Beamery requires a dedicated account with access to the Contact API in order to integrate with SeekOut. You will be entering the email and password of this account in SeekOut to complete the integration.

Custom Fields

A user with Beamery admin privileges must create four custom fields with these properties on the Beamery instance.

To do this in Beamery, create a folder called SeekOut, and assign the following four custom fields to the SeekOut folder:

Field Name: Project Name

Type: Short text

Field Name: SeekOut User

Type: Short text

Field Name: SeekOut Created

Type: Single select

Dropdown options: Yes,No

Field Name: SeekOut Profile Url

Type: Short text

Custom fields will track, filter, and organize the candidates brought over from SeekOut. The visibility of these new fields to your Beamery users is controllable based on their permission levels and the User Permissions you choose when setting up your custom fields.

For detailed information on custom fields within Beamery, see their documentation here.

Accessing Integrations

Click your initials at the top right of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.

Don't see the Integrations option in your menu? Contact your Customer Success Manager or and ask to enable ATS integrations for your org.

Connecting to Beamery

On the Integrations page, locate Beamery One-Way Export and click the Connect button.

Enter Beamery in the Name field, your Beamery email address and password, and select Production in the Environment dropdown. Click Save to complete your integration.

When successful, Beamery will appear under the section My Organization's Integrations with the label "Connected."

Before using the integration for the first time, you will need to authenticate your login information. Navigate to a SeekOut project and click More... at the top right of your candidates. Click Authenticate with Beamery 2. After a few seconds, the page will refresh and Authenticate with Beamery 2 will be replaced with Export All to Beamery 2.

If you see an error message after clicking Authenticate with Beamery 2, check to make sure that the email and password you entered in the previous step are valid, and that the account has the Contact API permission.

Removing the Integration

Click the horizontal three-dot button next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.

Exporting from SeekOut to Beamery

To export all candidates in a project to Beamery, go to your SeekOut project, click More… and choose Export All to Beamery 2.

Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.

Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking More... and then selecting Export X to Beamery 2. With both methods, clicking Export to Beamery will cause a pop-up window will appear.

You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If your ATS does not support candidate profiles without email addresses, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to Beamery. If successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."
